As a thank you to the Spaartans who have been to every Spaart Class (art classes for adults) over the past year, it was my utter pleasure to host a free Spaart Class at my family home.
We had the usual relaxing music, wine, jelly babies and after the gallery session where each person describes their artwork and what it means to them, we moved into the living room where we ate home made beef burgers I had cooked moments before they arrived served with a dollop of home made coleslaw also prepared by myself and crisps. We also enjoyed Prosecco, a gift from Jo and Celebration chocs for dessert.
The biggest treat for me was that my 77 year old mum could finally join a Spaart Class as she could avoid the long journey to the Spaart Classes held monthly in Central London.
Everyone enjoyed themselves, they were even more focused on their artwork than the usual classes in Waterloo and growled at me when I said it was time to ‘finish off their artwork’.
I was so happy to have everyone there, I truly love and appreciate them all for being a big part of this journey with me.
Thank you beautiful Spaartans 🙂
